Toy Army


Broken soldier returned home from his plastic green fleet
Shards of glass and ammo paraded about his injured feet
A gun broke wind informing of hysteric silence
Bringing fear and pain, so much for our humble alliance


Wealthy man of himself, rich in looks, politics and power
Speaks of nonsense, greed and madness until our defining hour
Wealthy man of himself goes to war with his wallet, not his life
Parallel to his knowledge, he can not escape this empty strife


Decent man of the land, intrigued, but with no place
Soon a man of honor, wonders, gore and grace
Persistent man of the land, now a sword and a shield
Parallel to his knowledge, he will lay plastered on the field


Valued soldier strong and wise, once of wealthy descent
Not a fan of dollar green; red, white and blue he will represent
Precious hero, savior of war, went a noble came out our inspiration
Impressive soldier, protector of life, accept our insufficient admiration
